40 years ago, the publication of Jiu Ye Collection initiated the study on “Jiu Ye” poets by scholars. The creative characteristics of “Jiu Ye” poets, which are the combination of reality, intellectuality and sensibility, have become the consensus in academic circles. At the 40th anniversary of the publication of Jiu Ye Collection, the paper has reviewed the modern poems of “Jiu Ye” poets, and has further revealed the ideas and pursuit of truth, the application of multi-dimensional and irony perspective, and the embodiment of new lyricism and perceptual revolution in the works of “Jiu Ye” poets. It can be seen that 40 years later, the subjectivity persistence and modernity exploration in the works of “Jiu Ye” poets are still worthy of understanding and referring for contemporary poets.
