The study of Ye Shi's thought of meritorious service has been voluminous since the Song Dynasty. However, as an important political ethicist in the history of Chinese thought, Ye Shi's research on his political ethics needs to be summarized and improved. This paper takes Ye Shi's view of "righteousness and benefit" as the starting point for further research, restores his thought to the social environment at that time, further restores the causes and essence of Ye Shigong's Thought on the basis of previous research, and explores its value, in order to provide reference for contemporary economic development and moral construction.
